Loyola celebrates Holi, the Hindu festival of colors
Loyola's Hindu Student Association hosts their annual Holi celebration full of music, dancing, color and fun.

You may have noticed the cloud of colored dust drifting over the south end of campus as the Winthrop Play Lot hosted the annual Holi celebration on April 6. Hosted by the Hindu Student Association and Campus Ministry, Holi—which is both a religious and cultural event—celebrates the beginning of spring and invites members of the community to dance, throw color powder and share in the celebration of the season.
